Émilie Dumontet has developed experience in civil litigation, family law, and corporate law. She began her career in civil litigation and family law before transitioning to corporate law. She currently works at Coveo Solutions Inc. as a Senior Corporate Legal Paralegal, where she focuses on business and securities law.

She graduated from Collège Ahuntsic in 2018 (DCS – Paralegal Technology) and completed a Certificate in Law at the Université de Montréal in 2024.

Actively involved with the Canadian Association of Paralegals, she joined in the fall of 2022 as Head of the Continuing Education Committee. Since March 2024, she has served as President, where she oversees the Association’s activities, with a focus on partnerships and professional recognition. She is committed to raising awareness of the paralegal profession and advancing its recognition.
