Julie Gay has developed experience in civil litigation and in the defence of First Nations’ rights. She currently works at JFK Law LLP as a Paralegal in Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Nation Building.
Before moving to Canada, Julie practiced as a lawyer in a firm specializing in business law. She worked with clients in southwestern France, Réunion Island, and Mayotte, where she drafted complex legal documents and collaborated on a wide range of files. She holds a double master’s degree in business law and management obtained in France.
Actively involved with the Canadian Association of Paralegals, she first joined as a member before becoming involved in the Continuing Education Committee. She also serves as Treasurer and Student Life Coordinator Committee, and currently acts as Interim Assistant Vice-President.
