L'Association Canadienne des Parajuristes (CAP) in collaboration with Noticia L.L.P. presents the conference "Introduction to eDiscovery Technology Skills and Evidence Management". This session will be held in French.

Description :

This webinar provides an introduction to eDiscovery and electronic evidence management software. Participants will learn about the main features of these tools and the fundamentals of managing a litigation project involving electronic documents. The training highlights the central role of paralegals in document management, disclosure, and exchange, as well as the technological skills now essential for providing technological support in legal practice.

Philippe Gollin, attorney

Philippe Gollin is a lawyer with dual legal training who specialises in legal technology matters. As co-founder of noticia, Philippe combines business and legal expertise in his work experience. He has handled a variety of complex cases involving electronic evidence in both private and public practice. Before founding noticia, Me Gollin worked on the eDiscovery team in the civil litigation division of the Department of Justice Canada.


Duncan Fraser, attorney

One of Canada’s leading eDiscovery lawyers, Duncan has over 25 years’ experience in both public and private practice, including substantial litigation experience in fraud, aboriginal, environmental, and injunctive matters.  Duncan advises law firms and corporate and government clients in complex litigation and evidentiary matters. Prior to moving to private practice in 2015 Duncan was General Counsel and Director of eDiscovery and National Litigation Support Services for the Federal Department of Justice and under his direction, the Department became a public leader in electronic discovery.  Duncan created the Department’s evidence management service, which delivers expedited document review to litigation teams across the country.
